We are proud to announce the launch of CLU.'s Prodigy Designer Intern (PDI) program. This pilot internship program is designed to give budding furniture designers a jumpstart in their design careers.

The PDI program selects a new industrial design graduate for a six month internship at CLU. The recipient gets the opportunity to be mentored on all aspects of real life business management from accounting to social media marketing. A core component of the program is the commissioned design of a furniture piece for the store under our private label banner called the CLU. Collection. The intern will receive a design concept and cost budget as the parameters. They will learn all the steps involved in product design and manufacturing.

We are proud to announce that the first recipient of the Prodigy Designer Intern program is Mark Elamatha. A recent graduate of the Industrial Design program at the University of Alberta in Canada, he moved to Melbourne to follow his career aspirations.

His design for CLU. is the DS1 (design study one) Shoe Console.  View the DS1>
