Our History

Opened in May 2013, CLU Living was founded by Chris Lu to provide a solution to the problems he faced while looking for an apartment. He noticed that apartments were getting smaller in Australian cities and people had to deal with furnishing them using furniture designed for large homes. He wanted to provide to provide right-sized furniture and clever homewares for small space living without compromising on style.

One of our core principles is to support local makers whenever we can. Our exclusive in-house collection called CLU Collection is an expression of functionality and design. The CLU Collection is designed by Chris Lu and proudly handcrafted in Melbourne.
